She went on to study at the Guildhall school of music and drama, and in her third year won a first violin job in ‘Die Philharmonie Der Nationen’ orchestra in Germany. On returning to the UK, Paula freelanced with the Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Hallé, Northern Sinfonia, Ballet Rambert, Bournemouth Symphony, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Mozart Players, BBC Concert Orchestra and performed with her quartet in numerous chamber music festivals and at Prussia Cove.
Paula joined The Philharmonia in 2003. She enjoys touring and remembers fondly the tour to Australia back in 2003 where she met with her Australian relatives.
In her spare time she enjoys teaching, running and being a wife and a mum to two beautiful children. Her son is a chorister at Kings College School Cambridge and she is looking forward to share the stage with him in the annual Kings College/Philharmonia Christmas concert.
