Philharmonia Chamber Players

The Philharmonia Chamber Players are a unique feature of the Philharmonia’s artistic programme, giving audiences the chance to hear a rich variety of repertoire for small ensemble in free, early-evening concerts at Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall.

Our series gives a glimpse into the heart of the Philharmonia Orchestra. In short performances, specifically programmed to complement the full concert that follows, the Chamber Players present celebrated and lesser-known works. Ensembles of between three and ten players – formed from within the Orchestra by the players themselves – relish the chance to share the joy of intimate music-making with audiences of all ages and levels of musical knowledge.
