Traineeships Currently Available
The Philharmonia Orchestra is one of the world’s busiest orchestras, giving over 150 concerts each year. Our principal home is at the Royal Festival Hall in London, but we also have residencies across the UK and tour internationally.
The Marketing Department is responsible for communicating the Orchestra’s wide-ranging activities to the widest possible audience, and bringing as many people as possible into contact with the Orchestra’s work, whether that is attending live concerts, following the Orchestra’s activities online or buying Philharmonia recordings.
The Marketing Trainee has the chance to observe the Department’s staff, both individually and as a team, as they work to meet sales targets, build the Orchestra’s profile and develop new audiences. You will learn how an efficient ticket sales operation is run, and gain insight into the latest arts marketing practices.
