What is Orchestra Unwrapped?
Orchestra Unwrapped is a concert series for school children aged 7-11 (KS2) in Leicester and Basingstoke, and expanding to Bedford in 2016/17. The programme offers thousands of children the opportunity to experience live music in an engaging and exciting way, accompanied by the educational resources to fully understand it.
The cost of participating in Orchestra Unwrapped is £60 (+VAT) per class (approximately 30 children, plus accompanying adults), which includes concert tickets, a place at a teacher INSET session, and the project resource pack and CDs.

How do I book?
From the right hand menu, please select your area (Leicester, Basingstoke or Bedford) followed by which concert you are booking for. Please note: due to the very high demand for places and to ensure that as many schoolchildren are able to enjoy these concerts, this year we cannot guarantee that schools can bring more than one year group to the concerts. We will endeavour to fit everyone in as best we can and will be in touch as soon as possible should there be any issues with your booking request. You can also book for the relevant INSET session on the same booking form.
If you would like to complete a paper version of the form to print and send to us by email or post, please select 'Download Form'. This will download a booking form which you can complete and send to us by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by post (Education Department, Philharmonia Orchestra, 6 Chancel Street, London SE1 0UX).
Please note: We strongly advise that you use the online booking request form as tickets are allocated on a first-come first-served basis upon receipt of the booking form, and schools are advised to book as soon as possible as places sell very quickly.Advance booking is essential.
Can I make changes to my booking request once I’ve submitted the form?
Yes, you can make changes by contacting Philharmonia Education on:
020 79213904 | email@example.com
What happens next?
Once you have submitted your online booking form, you will receive an automated response acknowledging your request for tickets. The administration team in the Education Department will review and process your booking request, and if your application has been successful you will receive a booking confirmation. Please note that your booking is not guaranteed until you have received the booking confirmation.
