(2 sides A4 + 3rd page answer sheet). The quiz itself is very brief, but because it is a word doucument you can add to it and alter it in any way you like. You are welcome to make use of any images on this site provided it is for educational use within your school.

Progression
This quiz could be used as a fun introductory activity before being allowed to explore parts of The Sound Exchange, such as: The Orchestra > Instruments, where
pupils could find out about more about the violin, string instruments, or perhaps each choose their own instrument of the orchestra to research and report back to the group later. Pupils could also be asked to find specific information eg which bit of the violin is called the nut? At the end of a lesson, pupils could take a different quizz, try out Guess What?, Play The Orchestra! or any other activities in the site. They could even submit their musical questions to The Forum.
