Saturday 16 September, from 11 – 13.00

Composer Paul-Isaac Franks takes us through his piece Mercurial Litany with live Philharmonia Orchestra musicians. Meanwhile helpers will be on hand to help users interact using Bluetooth mobile phones to record and exchange sounds and ringtones.  Finally, animateur Luke Crookes will guide us around the instruments of the orchestra with some music-making games using the music from Mendelssohn's Oveture to A Midsummer Nights Dream.

Saturday 23 September, from 11 – 13.00

It's your turn!  This morning we'll be converting the orchestra to play the sounds received via Bluetooth over the past 5 weeks.   Then, led by animateur Luke Crookes, we'll add in live Philharmonia Orchestra musicians and some percussion instruments to convert these sounds into a new piece of music.  Why not bring an instrument with you? If you don't feel like performing then help us by using our mobile phone video cameras to capture the performance for us to post online.

Saturday 30 September, from 11 – 13.00

The Grand Finale! Today we'll play all the pieces from the last 6 weeks on the stage as we host our end of summer party.  There will be games, live musicians, and the chance to watch the Philharmonia Orchestra in rehearsal on huge screens in the Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer!
