A performance on the Clore Ballroom Floor at Royal Festival Hall on Thursday 10 June showcased the efforts of children from Henry Cavendish, Granton, Streatham Wells and Heathbrook Primary Schools, and offered the opportunity to hear compositions and watch animations created by the children, accompanied by Philharmonia musicians.

All About Roots aims to embed music and creativity at the heart of each school via the creation of an orchestral residency. Every child in each school will be involved in the project, becoming more familiar with music and musicians and actively participating in the creation of new music. The inclusion of animation in the Music+ project enables the children to explore another means of creative expression whilst learning and having fun.
