Whoops I Broke It

[D]

This piece is a collage of speaking voices and, in keeping with this being part of Electric December, the participants were thinking about presentsand in particular the kinds of things people say when they are given a present - comments such as 'Aww, you shouldn't have' or 'I've always wanted one of these'.

To create the sounds of the Declassified project a number of systems needed to work together. By enlarging the image opposite, you can see a diagram showing how the various technologies behind the Declassified technology were set up.
At it's heart is the computer running the Jungulator software which could be controlled by one or more people using the MIDI Slider Box and/or the floor pads. This was mixed in with live or recorded sounds fed in and out of the Mixer from the Microphones, Echo box or from the other computer which was also used to record the performances.
