MUSO
Muso is the groundbreaking magazine for the younger, more open-minded generation of classical music fans.
Designed for young professional musicians, students or music enthusiasts wanting to keep up with the latest news and gossip, Muso provides essential advice on courses and careers as well as celebrity interviews and great competitions.
Regular sections include travel pieces, profiles of universities and conservatoires, suggestions on how to spend your cash, career guides and articles on more alternative aspects of music. We also bring you hot gossip from the classical world and opinion from top music professionals - for more info go to www.muso-online.com
I LIKE MUSIC .COM
I Like Music was launched in 2001 by a small team of young people who like music, for others who like music. Determinedly independent, online music magazine, www.ilikemusic.com proves that a small team of genuine music enthusiasts can hold their own against music sites that have a lot of cash, but little soul.
I Like Music has no corporate backing and is 100% independent, grown from the back pockets of the co-founders. Furthermore, I Like Music has a unique editorial policy (preferring not to slate music as they like it after all) and includes interviews that focus on the music rather than personal lives and gossip; a refreshing change during these times of celeb-gossip bombardment.
In 2006, the site was shortlisted in the BEST MUSIC MAGAZINE category at the BT Digital Music Awards. This follows an incredible year where the site has been hand-picked by Google to supply them with news; aired a round-up broadcast of the 2006 Grammy Awards and MTV Video Awards LIVE on CNN International; and won the Hampshire Award for Web Excellence for the second year in a row.
