As part of our new Symphony Days project we are producing a range of guides to a selection of pieces in the Philharmonia Orchestra's repertoire.
The guides contain both interesting bites of trivia about both the composer and the individual piece itself, plus a break down of things you may like to listen out for during either a live performance or simply whilst enjoying in the comfort of your own home.
We have also produced some listening guides as part of our monthly video podcast, starting with Beethoven's 9th Symphony, Berlioz' Symphony Fantastique and this month featuring Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto.
Use the links to the right to navigate through the guides.
