Having problems with streaming quicktime films?

Try this:

Make sure you've got quicktime installed. Quicktime player is free from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/

If you have it you should be able to see this logo where movies should be:

Right click (Ctrl click on the mac) on the logo and choose "plug in settings"

Then click on MIME settings:

Make sure Quicktime is the default player for the streaming movie options as above.

Also check the 'video' sub menu and check that the 'quicktime movie' boxes are ticked.

Apply these settings and then move to the 'streaming' tab

increase the amount of delay by moving the slider to the right if you're still having problems.

Still got problems?  email info@soundex.co.uk or post in the forum for more advice.  We always welcome your feedback, but please let us know what computer (mac or pc), connection speed, internet browser and version of quicktime you're using.   It's also worth checking whether you can see quicktime films direct from the apple website at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/
