Hello Everyone and thank you for signing up to receive The Sound Exchange Newsletter.
Because many events will be taking place on the site and new resources will be appearing all the time, I will try to keep you up to date with what is happening without bombarding you with too many emails.
The site was officially launched on January 27th and has already had a lot of postitive reviews (see below). There will be many improvements to make as we go and some major new resources are coming as well as some real ground-breaking events. We certainly have gone in at the deep end with some really ambitious interacive projects lined up, like the ´Philharmonia Live and Online Event´ and the ´Composer Resource´, but then if we didn´t go all out to produce something extraordinary, would there be much point in having this lovely new website packed full of shiny technology?

Some people have thought the computer generated password for The Sound Exchange a bit of a turn off without realising that you only need to use it once. After you log into the site you will see a new section in the navigation called My Account and once in there you can choose your own password and sign up for other things such as…

PHILHARMONIA LIVE AND ONLINE EVENT
- 24 March to 23 AprilMany of you will have already signed up for the Philharmonia Orchestra´s live concert webcast from the Royal Festival Hall on Saturday 23rd April. If you don´t know about it, this is a unique interactive concert webcast in top quality audio or widescreen video. Online programme notes and details of the many interactive features of this webcast, such as live chat and commentary are available here:

Ever thought it would be nice to write some music and have it played by top professional musicians? Here´s your chance. Anyone can enter the Composer Resource and everyone has an equal chance of having their music tried out by Philharmonia musicians. You can find out more about these revolutionary, interactive composer workshops by visiting the Composer Resource section of the site:
