Friends of the Philharmonia Orchestra

From just £35 a year, Friends enjoy a variety of benefits in return for their support, that give them exclusive access to the orchestra and its musicians. Find out more about becoming a Friend of the Philharmonia with first violinist Nathaniel Anderson-Frank.

The Friends of the Philharmonia play a vital role in the life of the Orchestra, supporting the Philharmonia’s extensive concert schedule with residencies in Bedford and Leicester, events across the country, and international tours. The Orchestra’s ground-breaking education work and award winning digital projects are also made possible by the generosity of our members. Some of the many achievements of the Orchestra that have been made possible through the support of the Friends are highlighted in our annual members’ newsletter, A Year in Review.

In return for their generosity, our Friends are offered an exclusive set of benefits that are not normally made available to the general public, such as two weeks’ priority booking; access to Open Rehearsals at our residencies in London, Bedford, and Leicester; and invitations to special events.

For those interested in supporting the Orchestra at a higher level, we also offer Principal Friend membership, through which individuals can enjoy a closer relationship with the Orchestra and its players.
