About Open Rehearsals
Open Rehearsals take place in Royal Festival Hall on the day of the concert and feature the music to be performed that evening. Attending an Open Rehearsal costs £3.00 which is collected at the door on the day of the Rehearsal.
Rehearsals generally begin at 10.30am and last until 1pm and usually take place at Royal Festival Hall. Times do vary and are occasionally changed at the last minute so we strongly urge that you call the Friends answer phone on 020 7921 3906 the evening before the rehearsal to confirm the start time and location.
How to attend an Open Rehearsal
1. Call the Friends line to reserve places for you and your guests in advance. We are also happy to welcome you at the door if you are unable to contact us beforehand. (Please note that calling in advance will allow us to contact you if there are any last minute changes to the rehearsal schedule).
2. Call the Friends line the evening before the rehearsal to confirm the start time. A message will be recorded on the Friends answer phone giving these details.
3. Bring £3 per person for admittance. We are able to accept cash and cheque.
4. Enter the Royal Festival Hall auditorium via the Level 4 Green Side entrance.
