Fanfare Magazine

Fanfare is an annual magazine published each summer for the Friends of the Philharmonia, giving an advanced look at the season ahead, and highlighting special projects and concerts giving our valued members a behind the scenes look at the life and work of the Philharmonia Orchestra.

Fanfare highlights this year include an insight into the life of Béla Bartók and Esa-Pekka Salonen’s Infernal Dance series which started this season, a behind-the-scenes look at the Philharmonia on tour with Principal Bass Trombonist Christian Jones, and an introduction to conductor Lorin Maazel and his much anticipated Mahler Cycle.
