Only the first two movements of Schubert's Piano Sonata in C were fully completed. The work was nicknamed 'Reliquie' upon its publication in 1861, in the mistaken belief that it was unfinished due to the composer's death. This performance was recorded as part of an all-Schubert concert with András Schiff in 2007.
