Overture, Leonore No. 2

Originally composed as an overture for his opera Fidelio, Beethoven's second Leonore overture begins with an introduction based on Florestan's famous Act 2 aria. Here it is conducted by the Philharmonia's Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor Esa-Pekka Salonen.
