Rebecca Moon SOPRANO

Brought up in Cornwall, Rebecca began her training with the National Youth Ballet and National Youth Music Theatre before continuing her vocal studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she was the recipient of the John Ireland Song Prize and a scholarship to study at the Karlsruhe Musikhochschule, Germany.

Recent solo concert work includes Vaughan Williams Serenade to Music for Lord Harewood’s Memorial, the Schütz Christmas Oratorio and Praetorius Christmas Mass in Cadogan Hall for the Armonico Consort, the Brahms German Requiem at Haslemere Hall and Schumann’s song cycle Frauenliebe und Leben at St. James’s Piccadilly.  Future engagements include Soprano I in Bach’s B Minor Mass at Llandaff Cathedral, Bessie/ Merrie England (PCS), Wife/ Madame X (Radius Music/ Arcola) and Guest Soloist at the Last Night of the Proms (Minack Theatre).
