Timothy Rundle was born in Rugby in 1981 and began playing the oboe aged eight. He graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2003 after studying with Jonathan Small. In 2005 he was appointed sub-principal oboe with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in Glasgow and joined the Philharmonia Orchestra as second oboe in 2011. He has played with some of the world’s leading orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, Mahler Chamber Orchestra and Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
