Geremia Iezzi No. 3 Horn

Born in 1987, Geremia began playing the horn at age 8. By the time he was 16 he had already graduated with the highest possible mark and honoris from the Conservatorio Luisa D’Annunzio in Italy.

During this time, constant courses and masterclasses led him to meet Jonathan Williams,with whom he continued his studies until ultimately arriving in London and completing his post-graduate work at the Royal College of Music.

Geremia came second at the Ceccarssi International Horn Contest in Orsogna, Italy in 2002 and also participated at the ARD International Competition in Munich.

He has been a member of the Orchestra Mozart under Claudio Abbado since 2006, and has collaborated with numerous orchestras including: Orchestra Città Aperta, Orchestra Nazionle dell'Accademia di Santa Cecilia, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Lucerne Festival Orchestra.

He joined the Philharmonia Ochestra’s Horn section in February 2013.
