In the opera house, Mr. Jordan has conducted at the Semperoper, the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, the Zurich Opera, the Vienna Staatsoper, the Metropolitan Opera, the Theatre de la Monnaie, the Teatro alla Scala and the Munich Opera. He has also participated in the Glyndebourne Festival, the Salzburg Festival and the Festival of Aix-en-Provence.
On the concert podium, Mr. Jordan has conducted the Berliner Philharmoniker, Philharmonia Orchestra London, the Chicago Symphony, the Cleveland Symphony, the Philadelphia Symphony, the National Symphony in Washington, the New York Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, the Berlin Staatskapelle, the NDR Hamburg, the DSO Berlin, the Accademia di Santa Cecilia, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and the Tonhalle Orchestra.
Highlights of the last season include the second half of a new Ring cycle at the Opera National de Paris, and concerts with the NDR Hamburg, as well as with the Wiener Symphoniker and the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra.
This season, Philippe Jordan will make his opera debut at the Bayreuth Festival (Parsifal) and will conduct a Ring revival at the Opéra de Paris. On the symphonic podium, he will conduct concerts with the Munich Philharmonic.
