Tamara Stefanovich has appeared at major concert halls including Philharmonie Cologne, Dortmund Konzerthaus, Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Mozarteum Salzburg, Konzerthaus Wien, and Châtelet Paris. She has been invited to the La Roque, Ojai, Lucerne, Klangspuren, Grenoble and Musica Strasbourg festivals.
Since 2003, Ms Stefanovich has been performing regularly with Pierre-Laurent Aimard. Together they performed all solo and piano duo compositions by Pierre Boulez in a European tour in 2005. They also collaborated on a Bartók programme including pieces for one and two pianos as well as Bartók’s Sonata for two pianos and percussion which received performances at Wigmore Hall London, Carnegie Hall New York, Symphony Hall Chicago and at the Ruhr festival in Germany.
This season will see Ms Stefanovich appearing with the Cleveland Symphony and London Symphony Orchestras, the Philharmonia Orchestra, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and Camerata Salzburg, and working with conductors including Pierre Boulez, Peter Eötvös, Jonathan Nott, Esa-Pekka Salonen and Etienne Siebens. She will perform Messiaen’s Oiseaux Exotiques at the Royal Festival Hall, Bartók’s Concerto for two pianos at Barbican Hall in London, and perform Mozart’s Concerto for two pianos and première a new piece by Johannes Maria Staud at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
Ms Stefanovich has made a live recording from a recital featuring 12 Etudes by Rachmaninov and Ligeti - a collaboration with Klavier Festival Ruhr and Fono Forum Magazine. In 2006, she recorded premières of works by York Höller and Marco Stroppa on AVI Records.
