Her roles at the Glyndebourne Festival include Zerlina (Don Giovanni) and Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro). Further British engagements include Ann Page (Sir John in Love) with ENO, Merab (Saul) with Opera North and Servilia (La Clemenza di Tito) with WNO. At the Edinburgh Festival, her roles have included Iphis (Jephtha) and Cleofide (Poro). Her European engagements include: Michal (Saul), Eurydice (Orphee et Euridice) and Asteria (Tamerlano) with the Bayerische Staatsoper Munchen; Ilia (Idomeneo) with De Vlaamse Opera; Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro) for the Royal Danish Opera; and Woglinde (Das Rheingold) at the Salzburger Festspiele. She has also sung Zerlina for Cincinnati Opera.
Her extensive concert work has included tours to Japan and Israel; the BBC Proms; and performances with the COE, the Berlin Philharmonic and the San Francisco Symphony. Her 2009 schedule saw her sing further performances of Asteria (Tamerlano) in Munich and a critically-lauded tour throughout Europe and the USA as Josabeth (Athalia) with the Concerto Koln and Sir Ivor Bolton. She has performed in concert with the Bach Choir in London and Dresden; the Halle; the CBSO (Mahler 2) in Birmingham and Newcastle, The English Concert at the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Kristians and Symphony (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) in Norway and the Gabrieli Consort (Acis and Galatea) at the Beaune Festival.
Future opera engagements include Tamerlano at Covent Garden and in Barcelona with Placido Domingo, and Musetta and Mimi at Opera North. Her recent concert engagements include the immensely popular BBC MGM Prom with Seth MacFarlane, Sir Thomas Allen and John Wilson, and Messiah with the Halle and the Minnesota Orchestras.
Future concert engagements include Four Last Songs at Winchester Cathedral, a Schubertiade at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam with Malcolm Martineau, a tour of Mahler 4 throughout Europe with Lorin Maazel, a tour of the BBC MGM Prom throughout the United Kingdom and a tour of the Messiah with the Academy of Ancient Music under the baton of Christian Curnyn throughout Italy. She will appear also appear in Britain and Europe with the Bach Choir.
Her numerous recordings include Vivaldi Sacred Music with the Choir of Kings College Cambridge for EMI; Vaughan Williams’ Christmas Music with the City of London Sinfonia; and Leighton’s 2nd Symphony and Britten’s Owen Wingrave and The Beggar’s Opera for Chandos.
