Since winning the competition he has appeared with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra (both in the UK and on tour in Japan), Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, at the Klavier- Festival Ruhr, the Aspen Music Festival and the Ravinia Festival. He also has given recitals in Washington, Boston, Indianapolis, Forth Worth, Houston, Berlin, Belgrade and Basel.

Highlights of the 2011/12 season include his début with the Philharmonia Orchestra and Vladimir Ashkenazy, and a solo recital in Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium. Elsewhere, he makes his début with the Basel Symphony Orchestra, returns for the third time to the BBC Philharmonic and gives recitals in Berlin, Munich and Istanbul as well as embarking on a recital tour of the US in autumn 2011.

Now 23, he has appeared as soloist with all the major Japanese orchestras including NHK Symphony, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony, Tokyo Symphony, Japan Philharmonic and Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa, and worked with conductors including Vladimir Ashkenazy, Yutaka Sado, Vladimir Spivakov and Thierry Fischer.

Nobuyuki Tsujii has made a number of recordings for Avex Classics including Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No 2 with the DSO Berlin, an all-Chopin recital disc, Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No 1 with Yukata Sado and the BBC Philharmonic and Mussorgsky’s Pictures of an exhibition. His latest disc is a live recording taken from his Carnegie Hall recital in November 2011.
