She has performed under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle, Kurt Masur, John Rutter, Charles Hazlewood, Don Pippin, Gareth Hudson and Nick Davis. Her now long-established artistic relationship with Carl Davis has led her to sing both 'James Bond' and 'Oscar Winners' programmes with the main British, European, Australian and American orchestras including the CBSO, the Hallé orchestra, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, the Florida orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra, Pacific Symphony, Richmond Symphony and the New York Pops with whom she made her debut at the Carnegie Hall in New York. February 2012 saw her return to America to perform with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

Mary performs extensively in Scandinavia, whether Musicals or Cabaret programmes, with the Odense, Sønderjyllands, Helsingborg and Stavanger Symfoniorkesters and Sinfonia Lahti. She also performs regularly in Germany; Bochum Symphony Orchestra, the NDR Radiophilharmonie and earlier this year completed a German tour with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
As a recitalist Mary has appeared at such prestigious venues and festivals as the Théâtre du Châtelet and Maison de Radio-France in Paris, Salle Pleyel, Festival de l'Ile de France, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Aldeburgh and Cheltenham Festivals, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, Opera Butxaca in Barcelona, the Berlin Philharmonie and King's Place, London.

On stage she has appeared as Mrs Noye in Britten's Noye's Fludde at the Loch Shiel Spring Festival, as Anna 1 in Kurt Weill's Seven Deadly Sins in Bilbao and Cuenca, Spain and in theatrical revues of Sondheim, Cole Porter and Rodgers and Hart at London's Cadogan Hall. At the 2010 Musikfest Stuttgart Mary presented Das Lied der Nacht, performing Schónberg's Pierrot Lunaire and songs by Kurt Weill with the Sheridan Ensemble. Last season she performed Cabaret songs in a series of nOSTalgie programmes with the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group.

Mary is involved in educational projects and has presented Cabaret songs to hundreds of young audiences in the UK with the ensemble VIVA, with whom she has also given performances nationwide of her 'Viva la Diva' programme; a mixture of Cabaret and Jazz songs arranged for voice and seven piece ensemble. She is a highly respected teacher giving workshops and masterclasses at UK universities as well as at the Opera Studio of Casa da Música in Porto.

Recording credits include Life Story by and with Thomas Adès for EMI, Britten on Film with the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, Peter Maxwell-Davies' Resurrection for Collins Classics, The Truth about Love CD for ASV, Give me a smile, for Threefold Records with the BBC Concert Orchestra, The Best of Broadway for Warner Classics as well as a collection of West End, Broadway and Film Music repertoire for Chandos and Silva Screen and numerous CDs with both the BBC Concert and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestras. Her most recent recording; Serious Cabaret with pianist Philip Mayers was released last month for Orchid Classics.
