Heather studied at Trinity College of Music and at the National Opera Studio. Operatic appearances include Zaida Il Turco in Italia and Wellgunde in the Ring Cycle at The Royal Opera House‚ Carmen for English Touring Opera‚ in Bermuda and with Diva Opera‚ Eleanor in Roxanna Panufnik’s The Music Programme with Polish National Opera‚ also seen at the Linbury Theatre‚ April Showers Playing Away and Moppet Paul Bunyan at the Bregenz Festival‚ April Showers in St Pölten‚ Lola Cavalleria Rusticana in Vietnam‚ Girl 3 in David Sawyer’s From Morning to Midnight and Ofred’s Double The Handmaid’s Tale at ENO‚ Nancy Albert Herring at Opera North‚ Tisbe La Cenerentola with Opera Zuid‚ Hilary Major Sirius on Earth with Almeida Opera‚ Bersi Andrea Chenier and Maddalena at Opera Holland Park‚ Minskwoman Flight at the Adelaide Festival‚ and Berthe Blond Eckbert with The Opera Group.
She has performed Nicholas Maw’s The Voice of Love and David Matthews’ From Coastal Stations, Miss Donnithorne’s Maggot by Maxwell Davies‚ Pierrot Lunaire by Schoenberg and Nouvelles Aventures by Ligeti. Oratorio and recital repertoire includes Elgar’s The Kingdom‚ The Dream of Gerontius‚ Chaussons’s Poeme de l’amour et la Mer‚ Mahler’s Lieder eines Fahrenden Gesellen‚ El amor Brujo and the Sea Pictures.
