PETER AND THE WOLF
“The return of a rare treat”
Independent on Sunday
The Easter holidays see the return of an enchanting stage adaptation of Prokofiev’s family favourite Peter & the Wolf, playing in Canterbury, Cardiff, Edinburgh, High Wycombe, London and Southend.
A company of dancers, seventeen soloists of the Philharmonia Orchestra and the Narrator, played by larger-than-life Shakespearean actor-turned-mountaineer Brian Blessed, bring to life the classic story of brave Peter and his pursuit of the hungry wolf, aided by his friends the cat, the bird and the duck.
With a beautiful new first act specially composed for this production, by Philip Feeney, and choreographed by Didy Veldman, this is Peter and the Wolf as you’ve never seen it before!
“Has children ooh-ing and aah-ing in panto-style delight”
