Charterhouse Day Trip 22 June 2008

The Friends enjoyed a gorgeous day at Charterhouse that included a tour of the school by Charterhouse Students, a delicious high tea and chamber music performance by members of the Philharmonia.

The day was in celebration of the significant musical contributions of Ralph Vaughan Williams in this, the 50th Anniversary of his death. A wonderful time was had by all.

Many thanks to Dr. Ernst Zillekens for making the day such a success and thank you to the Friends who joined us for this splendid afternoon.
