Often led by the specialist Series Consultant for major artistic projects, Study Days are presented by a cluster of leading experts, including academics, musicologists and performers. Together they shed further light on key musical topics, giving a holistic insight into composers’ lives, works, and the context in which they operated.
Below are some examples of our recent study days, and accompanying websites presented by the Philharmonia's Digital department.
- Lutoslawski: Lutoslawski and the Interior Drama: The Spaces of Dream (mini-site)
- Bartok: Infernal Dance: Inside the World of Béla Bartók (mini-site)
Our next study day will be in Spring 2014 - watch this page for more information.
