Esa-Pekka Salonen on Alban Berg's Wozzeck (US Tour 2012)

The Philharmonia Orchestra, under the leadership of their Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor Esa-Pekka Salonen, will be touring the United States throughout November 2012. Performing in Illinois, California and New York, this marks one of the most substantial American tours ever undertaken by the orchestra. Esa-Pekka Salonen explains why he has programmed Alban Berg's opera, Wozzeck, for this landmark tour.
