Community Productions: Noye's Fludde
Large-scale, one-off productions usually involve working in partnership with other arts organisations and music hubs in our residency communities. These projects are often tailored to respond to local needs.
In 2014, presented in a giant barn at the Bath and West Showground, this production of Benjamin Britten’s community opera Noye’s Fludde by Kneehigh Theatre and with conductor Charles Hazlewood featured members of the Philharmonia Orchestra, recorder soloist James Risdon of The British Paraorchestra, singers Jimmy Holliday and Amy J Payne, the Exeter Recorder Orchestra, Chiselborough Hand Bell Ringers, members of COSMiC music club, Theatresaurus, pupils of Wells Cathedral School, pupils and staff of Brookside Community Primary School and the Quangle Wangle Choir.
