Communities & Family
Working beyond the concert platform in our residency areas is a key feature of the Orchestra’s education programme and has a broad reach across young and old from a diverse range of backgrounds; families, carers, vulnerable teenagers and adults, and community interest groups.
Projects often involve working outside formal education settings, with non-concert goers, and in conjunction with specialist partners. Work with families is mainly focused on specially curated family-friendly concerts, with related activities and opportunity for onward pathways.
