Set in an impressive Victorian building, it is acoustically brilliant thanks to the high ceiling. There's more than enough space to swing hundreds of cats, but the only ones you'll find here are of the cool 'kat', human variety. Rock and pop groups, touring theatres and operas, comedy, ballet, full-scale orchestras and all night dance events are testament to the broad selection of entertainment available.
