The Philharmonia Orchestra is delighted to be making a rare trip to Scotland, performing five concerts in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and at the brand new concert hall in Perth. The tour, which is conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy, is part of the worldwide celebrations of the centenary of Shostakovich's birth.
The Philharmonia Orchestra's Scottish Tour is supported by Aberdeen City Council, Alma and Leslie Wolfson Charitable Trust, Dunard Fund and The Hugh Fraser Foundation.
