The Philharmonia Orchestra's residency at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury, the first by a major symphony orchestra in Kent, sees the Philharmonia perform around six concerts each year, as well as forging links with local education organisations.

The Orchestra brings to Canterbury many of its successful London projects, which this season include star pianist Daniil Trifonov's Rachmaninov series (16th Oct), as well as the exciting Philharmonia At The Movies (17th Jun) which will feature music from Oscar-award winning films conducted by the legendary Carl Davis.

Artists who are performing in Canterbury this season include conductors Jakub Hrůša, Joshua Weilerstein, Kazuki Yamada, Lahav Shani and Edward Gardner, alongside violinist Tasmin Little and pianists Denis Kozhukhin and Martin Helmchen.
