CAN I MAKE A SERIES MULTI-BUY BOOKING ONLINE?

Yes. The more concerts you book, the more you save. Please note that you must purchase the same number of tickets for each concert in your booking for the discounts to apply. Single tickets can be purchased in addition to the multi-buy, but the discount will not apply. Signature seats (London Season only) count towards a multi-buy booking but the tickets are not discounted. Select the seats you want for each concert in the Royal Festival Hall and Bedford Corn Exchange seasons, and the subscription discounts will be applied automatically. CAN I BOOK TICKETS FOR ALL PHILHARMONIA CONCERTS THROUGH THE ORCHESTRA'S WEBSITE OR BOX OFFICE?

No. We only sell ticets directly for our seasons at London's Southbank Centre and Bedford's Corn Exchange. All other ticket purchases can be made through our partner venues, and links are provided on each event page.

IS THERE A TRANSACTION FEE?

Yes. A transaction fees is charged for each transaction and not per ticket.

For the London Season, the fees are:

  • £1.75 online booking
  • £2.75 for telephone, email and postal bookings

For the Bedford Season, the fees are:

  • £1.50 for online, telephone, email and postal bookings.

CAN I EXCHANGE MY TICKETS?

Yes. For concerts promoted by the Philharmonia Orchestra (London's Royal Festival Hall and Bedford's Corn Exchange), you may exchange your tickets either for a credit voucher valid for 12 months, or another Philharmonia Orchestra concert by returning them via first class post to Philharmonia Orchestra Box Office, 6 Chancel Street, London SE1 0UX with a covering note. They must arrive no later than 2 working days before the performance, or call for free on FREEPHONE 0800 652 6717. The Box Office is open from 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. You can also contact us by email at [email protected].

Tickets received fewer than 2 working days before the performance will only be offered for sale once all other tickets have been sold. If your tickets are successfully re-sold, you will receive a credit note for the full value of the tickets sold.

CAN I GET A REFUND FOR MY TICKETS?

WILL YOU POST MY TICKETS TO ME?

Yes. For bookings made within the UK, tickets will be posted to you if the concert is more than 7 days in the future. Or, if you prefer, you can choose to collect your tickets from the Royal Festival Hall or Bedford Corn Exchange Ticket Office on the day of the concert.

Tickets booked from overseas will not be posted.

To collect your tickets please come to the ticket desk. Tickets will be available to collect from 1.5 hours before the concert. Please take a note of the order number when you book.

WHAT CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept American Express, Mastercard, Visa, debit and credit cards.

HOW ARE CURRENCIES OTHER THAN UK POUNDS HANDLED?

If you normally receive your credit or debit card statement in a currency other than UK Pounds, your credit card company will convert the transaction into your own currency on your statement.

CAN I BOOK MY CONCERT TICKETS AT ANY TIME?

Yes, this is a 24 hour booking system. Please note that online booking closes 90 minutes before the start of a concert. After that time, bookings can still be made on the telephone on +44 (0)20 7960 4200 (for Royal Festival Hall) or +44 (0)1234 718 044 (Bedford Corn Exchange) and in person up to the start of the concert at respective venues.

The Philharmonia box office (FREEPHONE 0800 652 6717) is open on weekdays from 9.30am to 5.30pm.

Can I make a Group booking?

For the London Season, a 25% discount is available for groups of 10 or more people for most concerts. A complimentary seat is also offered for every 20 tickets booked.

A 50% discount is available for school parties of 10 or more pupils. There is also 1 complimentary teacher's ticket for every 10 purchased. This applies to both London's Southbank Centre and the Bedford Corn Exchange.

Group tickets can be reserved in advance, and confirmed by payment at least one month before the concert.

Please note that group discounts are not available online.

How do I know which password to use?

When you have selected the concert or concerts you would like to book, you will be asked to log in. If you have never booked for anything on the Philharmonia Orchestra website before you will need to register as a new user. Follow the easy steps.

If you have used the Philharmonia Orchestra website to book tickets before enter the email address and password you used last time. If you cannot remember your password you can choose to have a new one sent to you via email.

If you have used the Southbank Centre website (www.southbankcentre.co.uk) before, enter the email address and Southbank Centre website password you last used.

What do I do if something goes wrong when I'm using the online booking/ticket purchase/donation system?

Please send us an email including the following information

  1. Where you are using your computer? (eg at home, at work, in college)?
  2. The operating system you are using. (eg Mac OS X, Windows XP, Windows Vista)
  3. The browser you are using. (eg Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari)
  4. If known, the version of the browser you are using. (eg Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3)
  5. A description of what happened when you tried to use online booking.
  6. Details of any error messages you received (and a screenshot if you know how to do this).

Is the Philharmonia Orchestra online booking system secure?

Making bookings or donations or renewing your membership on this website is easy and secure. There are no documented cases of credit card fraud using our website.

Can I purchase CDs and DVDs online?

Yes. Select the SHOP menu at the top of the home page. You can purchase The Orchestra app via the Apple App Store, and downloads of our recordings via iTunes. Philharmonia Orchestra CDs, DVDs, and blu-ray discs are also available through this site by using the links to buy from amazon.co.uk. These links take you directly to our shop pages on amazon.co.uk, so your order is fulfilled directly by the Philharmonia Orchestra.
