We are delighted to present Philharmonia At The Movies: Sci-Fi, hosted by the legendary Barry Norman. From Luke Skywalker entering the Death Star’s trench to E.T. riding through the night sky, music has the ability to make great movie scenes iconic. In this special concert, music from some of the best sci-fi films ever made is performed live in concert by a vast ensemble of musicians. The programme also includes music from Things To Come and Star Trek.

1.45-2.20pm Join us for a free pre-concert talk in the DMH auditorium to find out more about today’s artists and delve into the background behind the music.
