With millions of people tuning in worldwide for their carol service on Christmas Eve, the Choir of King’s College, Cambridge embodies the great British choral tradition, boasting an illustrious history that stretches back to the fifteenth century. This concert opens with a performance of Handel’s ‘Zadok The Priest’, the words of which have been used in every English, and later British, coronation since that of King Edgar at Bath Abbey in 973.
