Saint-Saƫns Symphony No. 3, Organ

Berlioz’s Te Deum, like his earlier Grande Messe des Morts, is one of the works the composer refers to in his Memoirs as one of “the enormous compositions which some critics have called architectural or monumental music”. Another work which calls for monumental forces, Saint-Saëns reflected on completing his Organ Symphony: "I gave everything to it I was able to give. What I have here accomplished, I will never achieve again”.
