One of the greatest musical innovators of the twentieth century, Gérard Grisey created his own visionary universe by exploring thoroughly the nature of musical time, perception and sound. He spoke of sound as a living organism with birth, lifetime and death and researched its microprocesses, exploiting his findings in musical works, which unfold organically. Listening to Vortex temporum, his masterpiece, is an almost magical experience, during which the listener loses track of time. Not to be missed!
