MusicQuest 2012
MusicQuest is an exciting project taking place at St David’s Hall, Cardiff, in May 2012. It will give over 1,300 children the opportunity to experience live orchestral music with the Philharmonia Orchestra. MusicQuest is sponsored by the Classic FM Foundation.

About MusicQuest
MusicQuest provides a unique and inspirational opportunity for primary school children in Cardiff and the surrounding areas to be introduced to live classical music. Children aged seven to eleven will have the chance to hear the amazing sound of a full symphony orchestra filling St David’s Hall. The informative commentary of music education specialist Paul Rissmann will make the experience truly interactive, participatory and fun!
MusicQuest also offers teachers the chance to attend a teacher training day, aimed at enabling them to fully integrate music into the classroom. Teachers will be introduced to the works their classes will see performed at St David’s Hall. At the heart of MusicQuest lies the desire to ignite a lifelong love of live classical music in schoolchildren in Cardiff.
