The Lutoslawski centenary celebrations continue in Rome with Lutoslawski's Concerto for Orchestra, a work of virtuoso fast-reflexes that form a blazing climax to his early period and mark a new fascination with Bartók and the musical potential of indigenous folksong. The concert continues with Ravel's Ma mère l'oye and Debussy's La mer.
