The Lutoslawski centenary celebrations continue in Rome with Lutoslawski's Concerto for Orchestra, a work of virtuoso fast-reflexes that form a blazing climax to his early period and mark a new fascination with Bartók and the musical potential of indigenous folksong. The concert continues with Ravel's Ma mère l'oye and Debussy's La mer. This series is supported by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, as part of Polska Music programme, and the Meyer Foundation
