Charles Hazlewood, one of the UK's great conductors, and a man determined to 'give young people from all backgrounds the possibility of experiencing classical music' returns to Southbank Centre to get under the surface of an iconic and familiar piece.
The Southwark Youth Orchestra and the David Idowu Choir will join forces with the Philharmonia Orchestra to bring Dvorák's Symphony No. 9 From The New World to life. Together they explore the thrill of new and exciting places as well as how it feels to leave home behind.
