A live screening of the 1927 silent film Love, featuring the world première of a new score, featuring virtuoso violinist Vadim Repin and conducted by Frank Strobel. Aphrodite Raickopoulou has written a new score for this classic silent film, which is based on Tolstoy's novel Anna Karenina. Made in 1927 by director Edmund Goulding, Love starred the most celebrated screen couple of the era: Greta Garbo and John Gilbert.
