Martin Musical Awards
£30,000 (various awards) offered to all applicants

The Sydney Perry Foundation Scholarships
£15,000 (various awards) for post-graduate study

The June Allison Award
£500 (single award) for outstanding woodwind performers

The John E Mortimer Foundation Awards
£2,000 (various awards) offered to all applicants

The Emanuel Hurwitz Award
£500 (single award) for a UK violinist

The Reginald Conway Memorial Award
£500 (single award) for string instrumentalists

The Prince of Wales Award
£2,500 (single award) for an outstanding cellist

The Duchess of Cornwall Award
£2,500 (single award) for an outstanding harpist

The Friends of the Philharmonia Award
£1,000 (single award)

The Oliver Green Memorial Horn Award
£1,000 (single award) granted to an outstanding horn player, in commemoration of a young member of the Philharmonia Orchestra

Ensemble Award
£6,000 (single award) for an ensemble of 3-10 players



Terms and conditions

  • You must be 25 or under
  • If you are a UK citizen the Award can be used to study in the UK or abroad
  • If you are not a UK citizen the Award must be used for study in the UK
  • You must be studying for a performing career as a soloist, chamber musician or orchestral player
  • Organists, singers, guitarists and academic studies are NOT supported by the Fund
  • There is no limit to the number of times an unsuccessful applicant may apply
  • All awards must be taken up within the following twelve month period (payable from 1 June for private tuition and 1 September for tuition fees)
  • There is a £17.50 Registration Fee
  • Auditions take place during the Easter Holiday period.
